Boyapati is one of the top directors in the Telugu cinema industry, renowned for understanding the pulse of mass audiences.
Following the tremendous success of "Akhanda," all eyes have been on his upcoming film "Skanda," set to be released next month.
Up to this point, the film's team has unveiled two songs featuring Ram Pothineni and Sreeleela.
Despite both songs being catchy, they have not gone as viral as Boyapati had hoped.
The first song, "Nee Chuttu Chuttu," released two weeks ago, has garnered 14 million views so far. The second single, "Gandarabai," was released just four days ago and is another foot-tapping number, with over 7 million views.
These songs, composed by Thaman, have been slower to accumulate big view counts than expected.
According to our sources, filmmaker Boyapati had high expectations for these songs and is now puzzled by their relatively modest performance.
Ram Pothineni recently mentioned that these songs might take some time to catch on, suggesting that after two or three listens, they will grow on you.
Perhaps Boyapati should give it time for people to listen to these songs multiple times.
