Box Office Slump Continues: This Friday's Releases Lack Buzz

Hyderabad: The box office slump continues, with no major hits in recent weeks.

The last film to make an impact was Thandel, which generated some buzz for a couple of days before fading away. Since then, the industry has seen a dry spell, with last week’s release Laila tanking miserably.

This Friday, four films are set to hit theaters, but none seem to have the potential to deliver strong openings.

Brahmaji’s Bapu is the only notable Telugu release, but it lacks hype. Its success depends entirely on reviews and word-of-mouth.

Samuthirakani’s Ramam Raghavam has little to no traction, making its box office prospects bleak.

Dhanush’s Jabilamma Neeku Antha Kopam has zero buzz, following his usual trend of releasing dubbed films with minimal publicity.

The only film generating some interest is Return of the Dragon, starring Pradeep Ranganathan. The curiosity stems from the success of his previous film Love Today in Telugu.

Overall, none of these films seem poised to revive the box office, as they lack the pull to attract audiences to theaters.
