It seems that the theatrical battle between Shah Rukh Khan’s "Dunki" and Prabhas’ "Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire" is escalating as they approach their Friday release.
Following a dinner event hosted by the Bollywood star for key distributors and exhibitors over the weekend, rumors suggest that Pen Marudhar, responsible for distributing Rajkumar Hirani’s film in India, has requested exclusive shows for SRK's film in single-screen theaters.
Their argument is that after blockbusters like "Pathaan" and "Jawan," the actor deserves exclusivity in these venues.
On the other hand, AA Films, responsible for distributing Prashanth Neel’s highly anticipated directorial, is open to equal screen sharing.
The resolution of this situation awaits Thursday night to see which party will agree to fair play between "Dunki" and "Salaar."
