Box Office Report: 'Ram Setu' Replaced By 'Kantara'

Two big films of Bollywood- 'Ram Setu' and 'Thank God' failed to withstand the impact of Kantara at the Bollywood box office in the northern circuit.

Thank God features Ajay Devgn while Ram Setu is of Akshay Kumar's. Kantara is the dubbed film for Kannada which is enticing the audience at the national level.

This looks like a repetition of Nikhil Siidharth's 'Karthikeya 2' defeating Laal Singh Chaddha of Aamir Khan and Raksha Bandhan of Akshay Kumar a few months ago.

The theatre owners are increasing shows for Kantara to 25% to 30% by reducing the shows of Thank God and Ram Setu based on patronage.

So far Kantara made Rs 43 Cr at the Hindi box office as per a report.
