While the producers of Ram Charan's "RC16" are keeping the female lead's identity under wraps, Bollywood producer Boney Kapoor has spilled the beans.
He announced that his daughter, actress Janhvi Kapoor, will be starring alongside Ram Charan.
"In the near future, she will be starting a film with Ram Charan," he revealed in a video interview.
Initially, director Buchi Babu had Janhvi Kapoor in mind for the heroine role, but she opted for NTR's "Devara" instead. Subsequently, they considered various new talents, including Raveena Tandon's daughter.
Eventually, Buchi Babu approached Janhvi Kapoor, who reportedly signed on immediately.
The film will be produced by Vruddhi Cinemas in association with Mythri Movie Makers.
Sandalwood veteran actor Shiva Rajakumar will also play a key role, with AR Rahman serving as the music director.
