Bollywood Actor Detained at NY Airport

Bollywood actor Neil Nitin Mukesh recently shared an unsettling experience at a New York airport where he was detained and questioned about his nationality.

Despite holding an Indian passport, immigration officers refused to believe he was Indian.

Recalling the incident, Neil said he wasn’t even given a chance to explain himself and was held for nearly four hours.

Eventually, when officials asked him to clarify, Neil simply told them to “Google me.”

This left the officers embarrassed, leading them to inquire about his family background, including his renowned grandfather Mukesh and father Nitin Mukesh, both celebrated playback singers in Indian cinema.

Neil, who hails from a prestigious musical lineage, is currently seen in the satirical action comedy Hisaab Barabar.

Directed by Ashwni Dhir, the film also features R Madhavan, Kirti Kulhari, Rashami Desai, and Faisal Rashid.

The plot revolves around a ticket checker uncovering financial fraud, and it is streaming on ZEE5.
