Prabhas’s pedda nanna Krishnam Raju has a long association with Bharatiya Janata Party. He served as a union minister in the Vajpayee government.
There is also talk that the Modi government is planning to appoint Krishnam Raj as a governor to Tamilnadu state after the state assembly elections concluded.
Prime Minister Modi is also fond of Prabhas.
‘Adipurush’, which is based on epic Ramayana and Prabhas appears as Lord Rama in it, will release next year. By that time, the Ayodhya temple will also be built.
So, these BJP party men will likely promote this film aggressively as it would help them in the next year’s UP assembly polls.
However, Prabhas will not openly lend support to any political party. He doesn't want to be associated with any party.
