While the Bharatiya Janata Party top leadership generally maintains friendly relations with the ruling YSR Congress party in Andhra Pradesh headed by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, there are certain BJP national leaders, who always spit venom at the YSRC.
One such leader is BJP national general secretary Y Satya Kumar alias Satya. He is often considered a mole of the Telugu Desam Party in the BJP, as he sings the tune of the TDP in attacking the YSRC and the Jagan government.
On Thursday, Satya predicted that Jagan might go in for early elections in Andhra Pradesh as the financial position had been completely in a mess, beyond repair and the situation was not conducive for the government.
“Over the last three years, the situation has turned bad to worse, so much that there might be a need to impose financial emergency in the state. In order to divert the attention, Jagan might opt for early polls,” he said.
Satya alleged that in the name of administrative capital at Visakhapatnam, Jagan had plundered even hills. He had misled even the Centre on the debt situation in the state.
“While the loans had touched Rs 9 lakh crore, the Jagan government is claiming that it is only Rs 3 lakh crore,” he said.
He found fault with Jagan’s cabinet colleagues for asking his party leaders to beat the rivals if they talked about the state debt position.
“Jagan resorted to blatant lying even in his representation to Prime Minister Narendra Modi,” he said.
Stating that the BJP had no match fixing with the YSRC, Satya said the BJP had an alliance with only Jana Sena Party.
“The game has begun just now. The real fight is going to intensify soon,” he said.
