There is absolutely no hype around 'Bichagadu 2'. It hasn't received much publicity, and the popular buyers have not shown interest in acquiring it.
The local buyer from West Godavari purchased the rights for the entire AP Telangana region for five crores and distributed it among his acquaintances based on different areas for smaller amounts.
In Uttarandhra, it was given around 45 lakhs, and Nizam region for 1 crore. On the first day, the film collected approximately 65 lakhs in Nizam and 36 lakhs in Uttarandhra.
Interestingly, Krishna district recorded a share of 19 lakhs on the first day, a range not achieved by many big movies in recent times.
During its release, "Bichagadu," achieved remarkable success and became a sensation. However, looking at the openings to its sequel, the audience still seems to be travelling with the film.
This lack of clarity regarding the audience's perception spoiled the decision of potential buyers. If the market had a clearer understanding of the sequel's potential, prominent distributors would have competed for its rights.
Unfortunately, "Bichagadu 2" did not receive any buzz initially, making it difficult to predict its success.
However, considering the current trend, the film may make over Rs 4 Cr in Nizam alone. It is no surprise is "Bichagadu 3" is also planned.
