Siva Kandukuri, who gained recognition with his debut film 'Choosi Chudangane', is now poised to demonstrate his talent in a unique crime thriller titled 'Bhoothaddham Bhaskar Narayana'.
The movie has garnered significant excitement through its impressive promotional material.
As the release date of March 1st approaches, Siva Kandukuri has revealed further details about the film.
"It's not just because my father (Raj Kandukuri) is in the industry; I've naturally been drawn to movies since my childhood. However, having my father involved in the industry means that the film environment is ingrained in our home, which amplifies its influence even further.
"I studied energy engineering in the US, and then I joined the theater club as a hobby for two years. We would perform small plays during weekends, and I cherished the praise that followed. When I returned to India, my father was in the process of making 'Choosi Chudangane'. However, there was an issue with the planned lead actor's dates. The director saw me as a perfect fit for the role and suggested that we shoot a demo. It was only after my father approved of the demo that I officially joined the project," he reminisced about his first film.
"I came with a strong conviction that there would be ups and downs in the film industry. Regardless of the outcome of the film, I enjoyed portraying the character and appreciated the filmmaking process. 'I never regretted leaving a good job in America,' " he said.
"My grandfather (Sadguru Sri Sivananda Murthy) always encouraged me to enjoy life to the fullest. During his last days, I shared with him my desire to pursue a career in films. He advised me to adhere to our values while exploring this path. He expressed satisfaction knowing that I had chosen to enter the world of movies.
Speaking about the movie 'Bhoothadham Bhaskar Narayana'... this is a unique crime thriller. Telugu cinema has yet to witness a film with such treatment. It features a distinct presentation, incorporating a mythological element into the story, which adds an intriguing aspect. The detective role is intricately designed, with a touch of humor, ensuring a strong connection with the audience. The film is highly engaging, and I firmly believe it will significantly contribute to my career."
'Bhutaddham Bhaskar Narayana' also boasts impressive CG work. Initially, we collaborated with one team, but the results were unsatisfactory. We decided to start afresh with a new team, and the outcome was excellent. It was gratifying to produce a film without any compromises from the producers. Thrillers with distinctive content have consistently performed well, and we are confident that 'Bhutaddham Bhaskar Narayana' will also captivate the audience," he said.
"Now I am content with the stories being offered to me. I am highly satisfied with the next three films following 'Bhootadham Bhaskar Narayana'. Regarding my upcoming projects, I can confirm that the shooting for one of the films is scheduled to commence in March," he shared about his upcoming lineup.
