Popular south Indian actress Priyamani shot to fame in the digital space with The Family Man. Now, the National Award winning artiste is stepping into Telugu OTT with Bhamakalapam, 'a delicious home-cooked thriller' to be streamed on Aha.
After triggering curiosity with an intriguing first look, an interesting video glimpse, and an impressive teaser, the makers have now released a tempting trailer.
In the trailer, Anupama (Priyamani) is a homemaker in an apartment complex, and she is also a popular chef on YouTube. An ancient egg whose value is around Rs 200 crore goes missing from a museum and a murder too happens. How these are linked to Priyamani is the crux of Bhamakalapam.
The web film will be released on the second Friday of February (11 February), as per Aha's promise to serve new doses of entertainment to viewers every weekend.
The web original movie is directed by Abhimanyu Tadimeti with filmmaker Bharat Kamma as the showrunner. Sudheer Edara and Bogavalli Bapineedu have produced the film under SVCC Digital (also the production behind Vishwak Sen's Ashokavanamlo Arjuna Kalyanam).
Music for Bhamakalapam is by Justin Prabhakaran of Radhe Shyam fame, while cinematography is by Deepak Kumar and editing by Viplav. According to Bhamakalapam team, it would turn a new leaf in the Telugu digital space with a captivating premise that's certain to leave spectators awestruck.
