Yash, the lead star of 2018 Kannada and Hindi major hit ‘KGF’, took us back to the 1970s paying homage to Amitabh Bachchan of yore.
The film had clashed with Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Zero’ and emerged a winner, despite a cliffhanger ending.
In this actionpacked saga directed by Prashanth Neel, Yash’s character Rocky arrives in Mumbai to make it big and gets involved with the gold mafia.
The film’s sequel was to be shot this year. But the pandemic-caused delay is hardly bothering Yash. He grew his beard four years ago for the two part film, and has been maintaining it since.
“The beard was an important element of my look in the film, but now it has become a part of my personality. Although it requires extra effort to keep it well-groomed, I don’t mind at all,” he says.
