Malayalam superstar Mohanlal plays the lead role and also directed the upcoming 3D fantasy film Barroz, set for release tomorrow, with premiere shows today.
Produced by Antony Perumbavoor, the movie will be released in Telugu through Mythri Movie Makers.
Mythri Ravi, while addressing the media, stated that he was spellbound when he watched a few songs and scenes from the movie during a visit to Kerala.
“The movie reminded me of the films I watched as a child, especially the popular Chota Chetan. This is a film that the whole family can enjoy, including their kids."
Mohanlal expressed that he feels honored to be part of the industry for nearly four decades. “Barroz is not just a regular film; it’s a 3D film. We’ve created it using native 3D shots with a stereo lens, a unique format that hasn’t been attempted in the last 40 years.
This is a film that is friendly for children, though not necessarily a children's film. We crafted it with love, aiming to appeal to both children and adults alike. It’s designed to bring out the child within you.”
To bring such a grand vision to life, we needed a great team. We have the best cameraman in India, Santosh Sivan, and Rajeev Menon, who worked on the first 3D movie, Chota Chetan.”
Mohanlal also expressed his happiness to associate with Mythri Movie Makers. “I previously worked with them on Janatha Garage. They really liked the content of Barroz and are releasing the movie with great vision.”
