Fearing that they might catch coronavirus by consuming chicken items, the majority of people are staying away from chicken. This is causing huge losses to the poultry business in the two Telugu states.
The cost of one-kilogram of chicken used to be Rs. 220 in Hyderabad, but it is around Rs.80 now. This shows the pathetic situation of the poultry.
Poultry farm owners are unable to bear the daily maintenance of the chickens.
The demand for chicken and eggs has been reduced drastically so the poultry business is in deep crisis now. Several poultry farm owners are thinking of distributing the chickens for free.
Similarly Bandla Ganesh reportedly planning to distribute 50,000 hens tomorrow free of cost as per the reliable information.
