The controversy over NTR’s teaser from “RRR” is refusing to die. BJP leaders are not leaving the issue.
After Adilabad MP Soyam Bapu Rao raising objections to the portrayal of Komaram Bheem’s character, now Telangana state BJP president Bandi Sanjay has joined the chorus.
Bandi Sanjay expressed his anguish over the depiction of Komaram Bheem in the Muslim attire.
“Bheem was killed by the same community. How can Rajamouli show Bheem wearing the cap of that community? We will not tolerate this,” Bandi Sanjay warned Rajamouli.
“We will see how Rajamouli would screen the movie in the theaters,” he further added.
The teaser of “Ramaraju for Bheem” was released on 22nd October on the occasion of Komaram Bheem’s birth anniversary. The teaser has the visuals of Komaram Bheem played by NTR wearing a skull cap.
The release date for Rajamouli’s “RRR” has not yet been decided. The film’s shooting is in progress.
