Telugu people are spread all over the world, with a significant presence in the US.
It is a positive thing that our own people are excelling in various fields and countries.
However, what is concerning is that some individuals, particularly those who have migrated to the US in the last 20 years, are losing their temper over trivial matters.
Many of them are ardent followers of Telugu film heroes and engage in street fights in the US, reminiscent of the fights that occur back in the Telugu states.
Upon arriving in the US, they have brought along the toxic sense of casteism and the unhealthy obsession with film stars.
The latest incident involves the chaos created by fans of Balayya in Illinois, US. Some young people who attended a music party in Illinois started chanting slogans in support of Balayya without any provocation.
Annoyed by their behavior, the organizers expelled these youth from the auditorium. Shockingly, the youth returned with their friends and confronted the organizers once the program concluded.
They engaged in a street fight while others watched, referring to them as Indians.
What's worse is that these same fans of Balayya have circulated a video of the brawl on social media and falsely attributed it to the YSR Congress.
They attempted to spread the false narrative that two factions of YSR Congress supporters were fighting on the streets.
However, those who witnessed the entire incident and are familiar with Balayya's fans know the truth.
One wonders why the fans of Balayya caused such a disturbance at a music party and why they dragged the YSR Congress into the picture.
