The success of “Akhanda” has put Nandamuri Balakrishna back in the league.
The film was a risky project for producer Miryala Ravinder Reddy as he had invested about Rs 60 crore, way more than Balakrishna’s market. He feared that he might not recover the costs.
But the film became a huge blockbuster. Buoyed by the film’s success, Mythri Movie Makers and director Gopichand Malineni have gained the confidence of investing big in their film with Balakrishna. The film will resume the regular shoot.
Gopichand Malineni has decided to package the film on a lavish scale. He will not face any budget constraints as the film is being bankrolled by the most-happening production house. Plus, Balakrishna’s market has expanded after “Akhanda”.
Balakrishna’s films work only if the action sequences are powerful, and the background music is riveting. Gopichand Malineni has roped in the same technicians who worked on “Krack” and “Akhanda”.
