Bad Newz: Modifications to Kissing Scenes

Vicky Kaushal, Triptii Dimri, and Ammy Virk’s latest release, "Bad Newz," directed by Anand Tiwari, has been cleared by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) with a U/A rating.

While the comedy hasn't had any audio cuts, the CBFC's Examining Committee recommended modifications to three kissing scenes featuring two characters, collectively spanning 27 seconds.

The board also requested an alteration to the visual of a lip-lock.

Sources indicate that no frames have been cut, but it remains to be seen how the kissing scenes have been modified in the final version.

Additionally, the CBFC suggested replacing the disclaimer at the beginning of the film and using a larger font for the anti-alcohol consumption warning.

The film, produced by Karan Johar, Amritpal Singh Bindra, and Manish Menghani, has a runtime of two hours and 22 minutes.
