Varun Tej is making his Pan India debut with his 14th film Matka to be directed by Karuna Kumar.
Matka is a periodic film set in the backdrop of Vizag with Meenakshi Chowdary and B-Town actress Nora Fatehi essaying the heroines.
Nora Fatehi is in the process of preparing for her character in the movie. She landed in Hyderabad and is taking part in the workshop for the last 3 days.
Besides the look test, she is attending acting classes to understand the character and the backdrop. The makers are content with the co-operation from the actress who despite busy schedules has come here for the workshop.
Based on true incidents which shook the entire nation, the story happens from 1958 to 1982. To bring vintage look, the team is taking extra care and are conducting workshops.
From Varun Tej to Meenakshi to Nora to rest of the cast, everyone will be undergoing makeover to play their respective characters.
