The teaser for Tamannaah's Odela 2 was launched in a majestic and spiritual manner at the Maha Kumbh Mela, aboard a boat in the middle of the river, in the presence of many Naga Sadhus.
Tamannaah called it a once-in-a-lifetime achievement to be part of a film filled with spiritual elements.
"I believe you'll see a side of me that’s unlike anything anyone has seen on screen before. Producer Madhu and director Ashok Teja made this movie on a grand scale," she shared.
Sampath Nandi, the creator of the Odela series, expressed his gratitude to producer Madhu for launching the teaser at Maha Kumbh Mela.
"We started with the opening in Kashi, and now we’re fortunate to launch the teaser here, in the presence of Naga Sadhus. We’re feeling a positive energy here. This is the biggest gathering on the planet. The first part was made for OTT, but this movie is as rare as the Maha Kumbh Mela. The VFX will be on the scale of big films, and you’ll witness the Vishwa Roopam of Vasistha. I’m experiencing goosebumps for the first time with the BGM by Ajneesh Loknath."
Sampath also emphasized that the story was created specifically for Tamannaah.
"When we told her about Nag Sadhu’s character, she was immediately ready. She filmed in 48-degree heat, without slippers. It’s no small feat to carry that weight in the get-up. She didn’t eat non-veg throughout the entire shoot. She truly owned the character. Just as we admired Soundarya in Ammoru and Anushka in Arundhathi, audiences will admire Tamannaah in the same way after watching Odela 2."
The teaser, which showcased the grand vision of the movie, received an overwhelming response, setting high expectations for Odela 2.
