On the occasion of World Wildlife Day, the theatrical trailer of Rana’s most challenging film Aranya is unveiled.
Rana needed to lose nearly 30 kgs of weight to look thin and old in the film.
The actor stated that the film Aranya made him a complete man.
“We hear in spiritual teachings that we didn't bring anything into this world, and we won't take anything with us. But, the elephant told me a different story.
‘You are part of this nature. If you take care of nature, it will take the best care of you’.
I’ve learnt something from every film I did. But, this film made me a complete man. My relationship with humans has bettered after being in the forest and spending time with elephants. I’ve learnt a lot from this film.
Though our producers of Eros too have an OTT platform, they have waited nearly an year to release it in theatres.
My grandfather used to say that many producers come forward to make commercial films. But, very few people will dare to make such films. This team will forever hold a special place in my heart and life,” said Rana.
Directed by Prabhu Solomon, Aranya also features Vishnu Vishal, Zoya Hussain, and Shriya Pilgaonkar in important roles.
