The newly formed Andhra Pradesh government, led by Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, has yet to make decisions regarding new ticket rates in the state.
However, producer Ashwini Dutt has already requested Naidu to grant special rates for Kalki 2898 AD.
According to buzz, Dutt proposed Rs 400 as the maximum rate.
Whether the new government agrees to this sharp hike or not, CM Naidu reportedly promised Dutt that he would provide the maximum possible benefit. The exact increase in ticket rates will be known next week.
Dutt also informed distributors in Andhra Pradesh to prepare for midnight shows on the first day. He is working on obtaining all the necessary permissions.
In the USA, the distributor is already selling tickets for Kalki 2898 AD at a premium price. In some places, ticket rates are as high as $38.
