AP Govt Approves Ticket Price Hike for 'Devara'

The Andhra Pradesh government has announced a ticket price hike for the 'Devara,' starring NTR Jr.

As per the GO dated 20th September, it is mentioned that "Government, after careful examination of the request of the producer of DEVARA movie, hereby accord permission to the management of all the theaters in the state of Andhra Pradesh to enhance ticket rates up to upper class Rs 110 (including GST), lower class Rs 60 (including GST), and multiplex Rs 135 (including GST) per ticket, over and above admission rates mentioned in GO Ms No 13, Home (Gen A) Department, dated 7-3-2022 for all classes in relaxation of the rules/guidelines specified in the references cited".

This means that the above prices will be added respectively to the already existing ticket prices.

The government has also granted special screening permissions.

On release day, September 27, six shows will begin at midnight 12 AM, allowing fans to experience the film early. From September 28, an additional five shows per day will be permitted for the following nine days.

Anticipation is building for 'Devara,' which is expected to draw large crowds, particularly in its opening weeks. The combination of a ticket price increase and extended screening hours aims at big collections.

As the release date approaches, all eyes are on 'Devara' to see how it performs both critically and commercially in pan India landscape.
