Anushka Shetty who tasted her first Pan India success with Baahubali, and last appeared in the super hit Miss Shetty Mr Polishetty, is presently starring in another Pan India movie Ghaati.
This a high-octane action thriller directed by Krish Jagarlamudi received terrific response for its first look poster, followed by first glimpse, released on Anushka’s birthday.
As hinted by the glimpse, Anushka played a bold and fierce character in the movie, and it’s a big surprise to see her in such a violent role.
The glimpse definitely generated great excitement for the movie, and today, the makers announced the film’s release date.
April 18th is the date locked for the film’s release, and summer is obviously a perfect choice for this Pan India movie.
The date was announced through a video that shows a humorous conversation between the director and producers. Anushka can also be seen. They also included a bit from the glimpse.
They have also released a poster featuring Anushka standing on a hill, holding a gun in her hand. With blood marks on her body, she gives a serious, intense stare in this arresting poster.
“Victim. Criminal. Legend.” is the tagline in the movie where Anushka will be seen in a multi-shaded role of a person who survived ordeals beyond imagination.
The cinematography is by Manojh Reddy Katasani, while the music is scored by Nagavelli Vidya Sagar.
Chintakindi Srinivas Rao provided the story, while the dialogues were penned by Sai Madhav Burra.
