Adivi Sesh’s highly anticipated action-drama Dacoit is progressing with its shoot in Hyderabad. The next schedule will take place in Maharashtra.
Recently, the makers revealed to have cast Mrunal Thakur as the film’s leading lady, and the first look poster generated inquisitiveness.
Meanwhile, the team has announced to have roped in the renowned director and actor Anurag Kashyap for a commanding role as a fearless cop.
His character, a fervent follower of Lord Ayyappa, stands firm against any form of corruption. He combines intellect with a sharp sense of humor, often laced with sarcasm, which adds a distinct layer of intensity to the film's captivating storyline.
The team has also unveiled a striking first look poster. Anurag Kashyap, adorned with an Ayyappa mala, stares intently, while a female cop beside him locks in on her target.
Directed by Shaneil Deo in his directorial debut, Dacoit is produced by Supriya Yarlagadda, with Suniel Narang co-producing and Annapurna Studios presenting.
The film is being shot simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu, and will have a pan-India release.
