Animal Creates Massive Buzz Ahead of Release

Animal Creates Massive Buzz Ahead of Release

Is it Ranbir Kapoor's star power or the intriguing mix of violence and drama in the trailer? The reasons may be elusive, but "Animal" has garnered significant pre-release attention.

Advance bookings for the film in India opened on November 26, a full six days before its December 1 release, and within two days, over 2 lakh tickets were sold.

Trade analysts are predicting an opening of Rs 30 crore or more. What is driving the anticipation for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial venture?

According to a trade source, the film's A certification raised concerns about its opening figures, but a pan-India promotional strategy has proven beneficial.

"Animal" is set for a pan-India release in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The cast has participated in chat shows in Hyderabad, engaged in extensive promotions in South India, and attended a major event in Delhi.

The source also notes that the film's music, featuring tracks by Punjabi artists like B Praak, Bhupinder Babbal, and songwriter Jaani, has gained popularity in the northern belt.

An anonymous trade veteran asserts that the Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, and Bobby Deol-starrer is expected to achieve 90 to 100 percent occupancy over the first weekend.

The drama is anticipated to face minimal competition from Vicky Kaushal's "Sam Bahadur," projected to earn around Rs 10 crore on its opening day.
