Former minister and Nellore city MLA, Poluboyina Anil Kumar, threw a strange challenge to the four suspended MLAs on Tuesday.
He directed his challenge specifically to the three MLAs from the Nellore district: Nellore rural MLA Kotamreddy Sridhar Reddy, Venkatagiri MLA Anam Ramananarayana Reddy, and Udayagiri MLA Mekapati Chandrasekhar Reddy.
He confidently stated that none of the three MLAs would even receive a political party ticket to contest the next election, let alone win it.
Anil Kumar went so far as to declare that he would quit politics if any one of the three MLAs were to get elected.
He added that he would leave the Nellore district if any of the three MLAs made it to the Assembly in the next election. He dared the three MLAs to accept his challenge and face the 2024 general election.
It remains to be seen whether any of the three suspended MLAs will respond to Anil Kumar's challenge.
