Recently, Ananya Nagalla gained attention for her graceful handling of an inappropriate question from a female journalist.
When asked if producers expect sexual favors from actresses, Ananya responded firmly and with dignity, not shying away from addressing the sensitive issue.
The question came from a V6 Channel reporter, who later faced backlash and trolling on social media for her insensitivity.
While promoting her upcoming film Pottel, Ananya spoke about the limited roles available for Telugu-speaking actresses like herself.
"Although I initially wanted to take on more vibrant and youthful roles, I've mostly been offered mature and serious characters. However, I have no complaints. I’m happy that filmmakers see me as someone who can handle performance-oriented roles, and I’m content with the opportunities I’m getting," she shared.
Pottel is an upcoming Telugu movie. The movie is directed by Sahit Mothkhuri and will feature Yuvan Krishna, Ananya Nagalla, Ajay and Priyanka Sharma as lead characters.
