“RRR”, “Acharya”, “KGF 2”, “Radhe Shyam”, “Bheemla Nayak”, and other biggies are skipping the year 2021 for the theatrical release.
The makers of these pan-Indian projects believe that markets will open to their full capacity nationwide only next year.
Hence, they have pushed their movies to Sankranthi 2022 or summer 2022.
Will Allu Arjun’s “Pushpa” too go for a postponement? The makers recently announced that the movie would hit theaters for Christmas 2021.
Despite other biggies moving to the next year, Allu Arjun is firm on his stand. He will not postpone the movie further as it will offset his other movies like “Pushpa 2” and “Icon”.
The shooting of the first part of “Pushpa” will be completed before the Dussera festival.
Director Sukumar is working overtime to meet the deadline. Malayalam superstar Fahadh Faasil is also participating in the shoot.
The makers have already begun music promotions with the first song “Daakko Daakko Meka”.
