Allu Arjun-Trivikram combo "Ala Vaikunta Puram Lo" was released exactly a year ago and broke many records at the box office and also on youtube. The songs in the film are still making huge numbers of views and setting national records.
On this one year occasion, the entire movie unit had a reunion at the Allu's office in Hyderabad. Allu Arjun spoke emotionally on this occasion.
"2020 has been a bad year for the entire world. But that's not the same to me. I have seen the all time big hit in my entire career. The film is still creating sensation somehow or the other even after one year.
Had we planned the release for summer instead of Sankranthi, we would have not seen this result. I was restricted to home one and half years before Covid. After the Covid outbreak again I was only at home. But "AVPL" has brought a big change and energy.
I want to share one important thing with you all. Every hero will have an all time hit in his career which proves to be a beautiful milestone.
For example "Khushi" is an all time hit for Pawan Kalyan which was his 7th film. Jr NTR had Simhadri as the all time hit. Charan's 2nd film was an alltime hit. But it took 20 films for me to see my film become an all-time hit.
