At the recent Pushpa 2 Thanks Giving event, both hero Allu Arjun and director Sukumar failed to mention the crucial contribution of Sam CS, the music director who worked on a part of re-recording to the film.
Despite rumors that the film’s release would be delayed, the re-recording was completed on time, largely due to Sam CS's efforts.
Several impactful episodes, especially the climax, were enhanced by his work, adding depth to the film. However, in all the discussions about the music, Sam CS's name was conspicuously missing.
While Devi Sri Prasad received well-deserved praise for the film’s music, the omission of Sam CS feels intentional rather than accidental.
Everyone, including Bunny and the producers, spoke highly of the music but overlooked the contribution of the re-recording expert.
Given how instrumental Sam CS was in ensuring the timely completion of the film, it’s hard to ignore the fact that his work was sidelined. Many observed this and pointed out why Sam CS is ignored totally.
Another observation is that Allu Arjun did not significantly mention Oscar-winning lyricist Chandrabose, who wrote all the songs for both parts of Pushpa.
Although he briefly mentioned "Bose garu and all the lyricists," this indicates a lack of attention to what he was saying. Chandrabose is the sole lyricist for the film, with no other lyricists involved.
While Allu Arjun gave a detailed acknowledgment to choreographer Ganesh Acharya and music director Devi Sri Prasad, an equal level of appreciation for Chandrabose was expected, but it was noticeably absent.
