Allu Aravind to lobby in Delhi for son?

Allu Aravind to lobby in Delhi for son?

Tollywood superstar Allu Arjun might have temporarily escaped prolonged imprisonment in connection with the death of a woman in stampede at Sandhya Theatre on December 4 during the premiere show of his film Pushpa-2: The Rule, thanks to the intervention of the state high court.

But the threat of him being arrested again still hangs on his head, as the high court had given him interim bail only for four weeks.

The Telangana police, who are actively pursuing the case, might arrest him again, if he doesn’t get regular bail in the lower court.

If the woman’s son, who is battling for his life in a comatose condition in the hospital, succumbs, it will be all the more trouble for him.

So, unless the ruling dispensation in Telangana led by chief minister A Revanth Reddy takes a lenient stand, the trouble continues to haunt All Arjun.

According to highly placed sources, the actor’s father and producer Allu Aravind is likely to fly to New Delhi in a day or two to lobby with the Congress bosses in New Delhi and seek their intervention in the case.

Sources said Aravind may meet senior leaders in the Congress high command and request them to prevail upon Revanth Reddy not to pursue the case against Allu Arjun vigorously.

“He would explain them the circumstances that led to the tragic incident, that was totally unexpected,” sources said.

If not dropping the case against the actor, if Aravind succeeds in his attempt to prevent the arrest of his son again, it would be a big relief for him, sources added.
