With the first look launch of Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer “Radhe Shyam”, the focus has now shifted on the release schedule of upcoming Tollywood biggies. Due to COVID19, all A-list star movies have been postponed indefinitely.
None of them make it to the theaters this year.
Rajamouli’s “RRR”, megastar Chiranjeevi’s “Acharya”, and Balakrishna – Boyapati’s film are looking at summer 2021.
If Prabhas’s “Radhe Shyam” which reportedly has completed 70% of the shoot joins the race, it will be an interesting battle at the box-office.
These big releases will give a huge boost to the box-office which is beleaguered by the pandemic.
But selling these film’s theatrical rights will be a huge task for producers now. No distributor is ready to pay advances. Some of the distributors are already demanding their money back.
