Actress Alia Bhatt has been trolled for endorsing products having sugar despite herself claiming to not consume sugar due to it being "unhealthy".
Netizens are trolling the Raazi actress for maintaining double standards. Many angry users called Alia a‘ hypocrite’ and slammed her saying that for money she can do anything.
One troll said, “kya hypocrisy hai can do anything for money.” Another tweeted, “For money they can sell po!$!on too if needed sugar is still called to be a slow po!$!on !!.”
"Why does Alia promote sugary products if sugar is unhealthy and she won't have it herself?" wrote another.
To note, during her appearance on the Kapil Sharma Show, when Alia Bhatt had gone to promote her film Kalank with Varun Dhawan and Aditya Roy Kapur, the actress revealed that she does not consume sugar.
She mentioned that it’s not healthy and suggested that one should consume sugar through fruits.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Alia was recently seen in Gangubai Kathiawadi, where she played a sex worker who went on to become a mafia queen. Her performance was lauded by audiences and critics alike.
