Akhil Akkineni has returned from his trip to Dubai, where he went to recover from the shock of the "Agent" debacle. The film was released on April 28 and turned out to be a flop.
Just four days after its release, producer Anil Sunkara took to Twitter to confess that they had started filming without a bound script and promised to be more cautious in the future.
In a message to his fans, Akhil Akkineni has now praised Anil Sunkara, calling him his biggest support system, but made no mention of the director, Surender Reddy.
“While we tried our level best, unfortunately, the film didn’t turn out the way we wished it would on the screen, and we could not deliver a good film,” he wrote.
Akhil promised that he would come back stronger for all those who believe in him.
“I will come back stronger for all those who believe in me,” he said at the end of the message.
