Akhil Akkineni, the younger son of Akkineni Nagarjuna, has struggled to establish a market for himself despite starring in five films.
His last film, Agent, was a box office disaster, leaving him deeply disappointed and prompting him to withdraw from industry interactions.
However, his father, Nagarjuna, is determined to revive his career by securing better projects.
Two films have been lined up—one under UV Creations and another under the home banner Annapurna Studios.
According to reports, the Annapurna Studios project is expected to begin production in January 2025, but progress has been slow.
While Akhil has yet to start working on either of the approved projects, the latest buzz is that Puri Jagannadh has now proposed a film.
Puri, who is facing a tough phase after consecutive flops (Liger and Double iSmart), recently met with Nagarjuna and Akhil to pitch a story. However, no decision has been made yet.
With three offers on the table, Akhil Akkineni is currently unsure which project to take up next.
