Director Boyapati Srinu is currently writing the script for "Akhanda 2," with Nandamuri Balakrishna set to reprise his role as Akhanda.
With the TDP forming the government in Andhra Pradesh, Boyapati is poised to include more political content and dialogues in the script.
According to sources, Boyapati plans to write dialogues targeting former Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
While the entire script is not yet finalized, it is said that he is planning to use various characters to critique YS Jagan's administration.
"Akhanda" had a devotional tone, and the sequel will blend devotional and political themes with plenty of action. The film will be launched soon.
Currently, Balakrishna is working on #NBK109. Once this film reaches its final schedule, he will begin work on "Akhanda 2."
