The film Agent which got delayed for various reasons is finally hitting the screens on 28th of this month.
As there is not much time left for the release, the team is going all-out to promote it. The team hold a press meet and also announced to release of the trailer on the 18th.
Dino Morea who played a crucial role stated signing Agent was one of the best decisions he had taken in his career.
“Akhil is a young and handsome man. Acting with him has been an absolute pleasure. I thought I had a great physique. When I saw him, it’s like a man crush. He’s looking so good in the movie.”
Sakshi Vaidya said it was a big deal for her to work with Surender Reddy, Akhil and others in her very first movie.
“Akhil, thanks for being a great co-star. Surender Reddy is very supportive.”
Producer Anil Sunkara said Akhil is the superstar in the making.
“The movie will definitely reach all your expectations.”
Surender Reddy made a startling revelation that he got covid and was hospitalized which was one of the main reasons for the delay.
“I was on a ventilator for 20 days.”
He’s all praises for Akhil. “Akhil worked really hard for the movie other than anybody else. It was tough to maintain the physique for one and a half years. He can do anything- whether it’s entertainment or action or any other thing. This movie wouldn’t have happened without Anil Sunkara. There’s no Agent without Mammootty. I feel honour to work with him. Dino too gave good support. We used to show all our frustration on Sakshi. But she performed like an experienced actor.”
Akhil stated that working for Agent was his most memorable journey.
“Agent has changed my life completely- mentally and physically. I promised Suri bhai before the shoot started that I would go to any extent for the movie. I blindly followed him. I got exhausted, after 2 years of journey. But there’s satisfaction in it.
Anybody can build a body. But the journey for this movie gave me mental strength. Dino, thanks for being sportive. I knew how much patience Sakshi has. I hope this movie opens so many doors for her. Mammootty is one of the biggest legends that Indian Cinemas has seen. He is my idol and inspiration. Anil Sunkara is the only producer we could have had for this movie.”
Akhil also revealed the reason for not releasing the Hindi version.
“We don’t want to postpone the movie for other languages. Since we don’t have enough time for promotions and also because Salman Khan’s movie releasing, we postponed the Hindi version. But the Malayalam version is releasing along with the Telugu version.”
From giving reasons for the delay to the film’s business to the budget, the team gave clarity on almost everything in the press meet.
