Following the tremendous success of 'Gadar 2,' it appears that Sunny Deol is now contemplating a sequel to his 1997 blockbuster 'Border.'
According to reports from an entertainment portal, the actor is set to collaborate with filmmaker JP Dutta and Nidhi Dutta to create 'Border 2,' touted to be India's most significant war film.
Reportedly, discussions about the possibility of a sequel have been ongoing within the team for the past 2 to 3 years, and now, everything has finally fallen into place.
An official announcement regarding 'Border 2' is anticipated within the next two weeks.
It's been mentioned in reports that while Sunny Deol is confirmed to be part of the cast, the team will soon begin assembling the rest of the ensemble.
Buzz also suggests that instead of reuniting the entire original cast of 'Border,' the makers will explore the inclusion of actors from the younger generation, given that the film is expected to be action-packed.
In the meantime, Sunny Deol's latest release, 'Gadar 2,' continues its triumphant run at the box office, having surpassed the 300-crore mark in domestic collections.
This sequel to his 2001 hit film, 'Gadar: Ek Prem Katha,' features Ameesha Patel reprising her role as Sakeena, with director Anil Sharma at the helm once again.
