After a Superb Weekend, Mad Square Loses Steam

Mad Square was a box office winner, raking in significant profits and bringing gains to all its distributors.

According to producer Naga Vamsi, the distributors recovered their investments within just the first three days of collections.

He stated that the film became a profitable venture thanks to the laughter it generated — not due to the failure of other films.

He even criticized a journalist and certain websites for not acknowledging the film’s box office success. However, just a day after his fiery press meet, the film saw a noticeable dip in collections.

Instead of gaining momentum, the box office numbers declined further. While it’s common for such films to see a drop during weekdays, the fall in Mad Square's case was steeper than usual.

Clearly, Naga Vamsi’s ‘angry young man’ act didn’t do the film any favors.
