'Adipurush Telugu' Targets At Rs 150 Cr

'Adipurush Telugu' Targets At Rs 150 Cr

"Adipurush" movie is being released at a pan-India level. The film's Telugu distribution rights have been acquired by UV, which is headed by Prabhas's close friends.

Additionally, Prabhas's brother is also a partner in the UV company. "Adipurush" is a collaboration between Prabhas and director Om Raut.

The main plot of the movie is based on the Yuddhakanda. The film incorporates graphics to appeal to the current generation and features a pan-India star cast.

It seems that the Telugu rights for the movie are valued at around 150 crores. Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Ceded territories collectively need to market approximately at Rs 150 crores.

Given Prabhas's pan-India popularity, this target is not considered big. If a film like "Salaar" were to be released, it would likely cross this figure as well.

A movie like "KGF 2" has the potential to earn around Rs 50 crores in Naizam. Considering this estimate, achieving a target of Rs 150 crores for "Adipurush" does not appear overly difficult.

Typically, major movies earn around Rs 40 crores in Nizam and Rs 50 crores in Andhra. Karnataka remains a stronghold.

However, "Adipurush" is not a typical movie; it is a mythological film. If it becomes a hit, people will undoubtedly throng at theatres.

Nevertheless, regardless of the outcome, the film is expected to have a grand and successful opening.
