Prabhas’s epic drama “Adipurush” was planned to complete from start to finish in a specially erected chroma studio in Mumbai.
Nearly after a month’s shoot, the team had halted the entire shoot as the corona cases in Mumbai begin to rise.
Although Mumbai is witnessing a slowdown of cases now after BMC implemented some great measures, the situation will not become normal anytime soon.
So, the team is now planning to shift to Hyderabad and erect the same set in Ramoji Film City to complete the rest of the shoot.
Bollywood filmmaker Om Raut is directing “Adipurush” with the cutting-edge technology of Motion Capture. T Series is bankrolling the project.
The film needs more than a year for post-production and VFX work. Hence, Raut wants to complete the shoot as soon as possible.
“Adipurush” is slated for the August 2022 release. Prabhas is said to be essaying the role of Lord Rama and Kriti Sanno is Sita.
