Adah Sharma gained national prominence following the massive success of the controversial film "The Kerala Story," in which she played the lead actress.
Despite being made on a budget of less than Rs 10 crore, the film is expected to earn more than Rs 100 crore nett in India, solidifying Adah Sharma's status as a big star in Bollywood.
However, Adah Sharma has encountered difficulties finding work, and has had to resort to appearing in films with lesser-known actors such as Aadi Sai Kumar and Prabhu Deva in order to salvage her career, after previously working with big names like Allu Arjun, Nithiin, and Sai Dharam Tej.
Although she appeared in the superhit thriller "Kshanam" opposite Adivi Sesh, she has not had a notable hit in the last five years. "The Kerala Story" has been a game changer for her.
There is speculation that she may become a favorite of right-wing groups, much like Kangana Ranaut.
