Mehreen, Pragya Jaiswal, Payal Rajput, and Amala Paul have one thing in common. They don’t budge on remuneration.
They are popular faces but don’t have a craze like a Pooja Hegde or Rashmika Mandanna. They cannot pull the audiences on their names. This has made the producers show unwillingness to relent to their demand of Rs 1 Cr plus remuneration.
Mehreen and Amala Paul have refused to sign Nagarjuna’s “The Ghost” when the producers bargained a rebate in their remuneration. They wanted Rs one crore plus GST and top-class accommodation for them and their staff.
Despite delivering a massive hit with “Akhanda”, Pragya Jaiswal has not announced her next film yet. Because she is also persistent on getting Rs one crore plus a paycheck.
She strongly believes she deserves such remuneration as other top actresses are taking home a paycheck of Rs 2.5 crore to Rs 3 crore.
Media reports said Payal Rajput refuses to sign for a low amount.
