This is something common in every household. When there is only one TV and the entire family happens to watch a film, and suddenly some explicit kissing scene or an out of the blue romantic moment comes up, what would the grown up children do?
The most common thing is to get up and leave the place to have some water. Indeed, nobody openly shares this anytime but it is almost everyone's experience.
Actress Tapsee shared this and got connected to many.
She said, "Dad mostly used to watch English action films. We had just one TV, so if dad would start watching, we'd have no option but to watch along. We didn't go out to watch films, per se. It's normal to have a lovemaking, or a certain kind of explicit scene. But it becomes very awkward when it's next to your teenage daughters. So both of us are sitting there, and it's almost like all of us have started sweating, trying to understand who should do what. The 'very obvious' way for us is to deflect the awkwardness by suddenly leaving to get water, or switch the channel"
She said this during the promotion interviews of her about to release the film "Haseen Dillruba'' on Netflix this Friday. Vinil Mathew is the director while Harshvardhan Rane is playing the male lead.
