The officials of Telangana transport and traffic police have decided to cancel the driving license of actor Rajasekhar.
The official statement is expected to be out in four or five days. His driving license will be nullified permanently as the officials found that he violated speed limits for about 21 times.
As per the new Motor Vehicles Act, repeated traffic violations lead to the cancellation of driving license.
The traffic cameras had captured Rajasekhar driving with the speed of 160 kmph on city roads on multiple occasions. The average speed limit on city roads is 60.
Rajasekhar recently rammed his car into a divider on Outer Ring Road in Hyderabad. Though no one was hurt in the accident, the police filed a case against him for speeding and causing an accident.
Reviewing his case, DCP (traffic) Vijay Kumar sent a file to the transport department to cancel the actor’s driving license.
