It is known that Actor Posani Krishna Murali was remanded in custody until March 20 by the Vijayawada Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court for allegedly making objectionable remarks about CM N. Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and other NDA leaders.
Arrested based on a complaint by Jana Sena leader Badita Shankar, he was brought from Kurnool jail to Vijayawada court.
Posani claimed police harassment and sought bail due to health issues, but the prosecution opposed it initially.
The verdict was postponed to March 20. Meanwhile, he secured bail in a Kadapa case, but a Narasaraopet court granted police two-day custody for further questioning.
Finally, Posani secured bail today even from that case and is being released from police and judicial custody.
It remains to be seen whether there will be further legal actions against him or if his opponents will back down after this ordeal.
