Tollywood yesteryear actor Kaikala Satyanarayana wrote a letter to AP chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy thanking him for the love and affection shown during his critical days.
The multifaceted actor, Kaikala Satyanarayana was hospitalised last year for critical illness.
Jagan Mohan Reddy called the actor over phone and offered support from the government. Accordingly, some senior officials visited Kaikala in the hospital and have even extended financial support to the family.
While the financial support was also a great intervention, the presence of the government officials and the very telephonic conversation of the chief minister himself had given a greater strength to the family in those crucial days.
Kaikala, a former MP from Machilipatnam in Krishna district, representing TDP, thanked Jagan Mohan Reddy for the love and concern showed.
The actor is still to recover completely. He could not sign the letter but made his son sign it on his behalf.
The actor said that the way Jagan Mohan Reddy government stood by his family indicates how the government is standing for the people of the state as well during the critical days.
He felt that Andhra Pradesh is in safe hands and people have nothing to worry about their future.
