Director Koratala Siva was completely involved in the film production and business aspects and he promised the buyers that he would compensate them and repay the money to lessen the burden of losses.
Two months have passed but the settlement has not been done yet.
Until last week, Koratala informed the buyers that they would get their money after Chiranjeevi comes back from his USA trip. But they didn’t get their dues even after Chiranjeevi’s arrival, Siva and his team kept on postponing the settlement process.
The team is now asking the buyers to wait for some more time as producer Niranjan Reddy is not in India now.
The distributor of West Godavari reduced Rs 2 crore from his payment to Mythri Movie Makers at the time of the release of “Sarkaru Vaari Paata” as he knows well the link between this production house and Koratala Siva. So, the losses of Acharya for this distributor have been covered.
The areas of Krishna, Vizag, and Guntur were bought by Koratala Siva’s close friends. So, there is no issue here. The team is under pressure to settle the matter for Nizam and cede distributors.
