Hockey was the most-admired sport in India once. But, cricket replaced it for long time now.
Sundeep Kishan’s upcoming film A1 Express is based on Hockey and the film’s trailer is dropped just a while ago.
The trailer begins with visuals of Independent India winning its first World Cup Hockey trophy.
Cut to present, there’s no such craze for the sport and it indeed is ruined in the hands of corporate biggies and corrupt officials.
Rao Ramesh’s dialogue, “India lo sagam mandi Hockey coach ante inka Shah Rukh Khan anukuntunnarayya babu,” sounds funny but it describes the reality.
Although the trailer doesn’t disclose the plotline, it assures engaging sports drama on screen.
Sundeep Kishan in his 25th film plays a hockey player and he is impressive in a role with two different shades, apparently the story runs in two timelines.
Lavanya Tripathi looks fit in the role of a hockey player and the romantic track is alluring with a lip-lock between the lead pair.
The trailer also has some high octane action sequences and it seems the film is not just about hockey and it also recites something else.
The last visuals show Sundeep Kishan celebrating the victory.
Hiphop Tamizha’s music is mesmerizing. Dennis Jeevan Kanukolanu is making debut as director with the film bankrolled by People Media Factory in association with Abhishek Agarwal Arts and Venkatadri Talkies.
The film is all set for release on February 26th.
